Luís Antero - paisagista, documentarista e arquivista sonoro - desenvolve desde 2008 um trabalho de recolha e documentação do património acústico de várias zonas do território nacional com base em gravações sonoras de campo.

“Estas Ruas Têm Voz II” leva-nos de volta às ruas do Arco e do Arrabalde, ao Largo da Feira e à zona envolvente do rio Pavia, 6 anos depois da primeira apresentação de “Estas Ruas Têm Voz”.
Esta instalação sonora/concerto desafia-nos a refletir sobre os sons do presente, as dinâmicas sonoras do quotidiano e o movimento perpétuo dos sons que refletem e espelham artisticamente as identidades sociais desta zona da cidade de Viseu.
O que se alterou acusticamente? Quais as alterações sociais que esta zona sofreu desde 2014 aquando da primeira apresentação?

Esta instalação sonora/concerto foi produzida em tempo real para 5 pessoas, de cada vez, interligadas por auscultadores e apresentada no festival multidisciplinar Jardins Efémeros 2021, Viseu, Portugal.

Luís Antero - soundscape artist and archivist - has been developing since 2008 a project of collecting and documenting the immaterial sound heritage of several areas of Portugal through field recordings.

“Estas Ruas Têm Voz II” (These Streets Have a Voice II) takes us back to the streets of Arco and Arrabaldo, to Largo da Feira and to the surrounding area of the Pavia river, 6 years after the first presentation of “Estas Ruas Têm Voz”.
This sound installation/concert challenges us to reflect on the sounds of the present moment, the sound dynamics of everyday life and the perpetual movement of sounds that mirror the social identities of these locations in the city of Viseu through artistic manners.
What has acoustically changed? What social changes has this area undergone since 2014, when the first presentation took place?

This sound installation/concert was produced in real-time for 5 people at a time connected through linked headphones and presented at the multidisciplinary festival Jardins Efémeros 2021, Viseu, Portugal.
